– 1. Effective philanthropy is defined by the depth of learning from evidence, not only by giving consistent, large and unrestricted grants.
– 2. Rigorous monitoring and reporting lead to better outcomes.
– 3. Trust and shared vision enable honest reflection, learning from failure, and co-creation of solutions for systems change.
