Invitation: Brown Bag Lunch – How Can Data Science Strengthen Your Programming?
Seva is proud to have joined the Humanity Hub community and is happy to invite you, as a fellow hub member, to a brown-bag lunch. It will be an informal gathering to get to know each other and explore how data science can help strengthen programs, improve decision-making, and increase impact. Because many organizations collect large amounts of data, yet turning that data into meaningful insights for programming remains a challenge. This session offers a space to exchange experiences, reflect together, and discuss practical ways in which data science can support stronger and more effective programs.
Seva’s Executive Director, Kate Moynihan, MPP will host the session, and she will be joined by Claudio Privitera, Seva board member and leading neuroscientist and biomedical engineer at the School of Optometry of the University of California at Berkeley. His background in statistics, quantitative analysis, and engineering brings a strong data-driven perspective to strategic discussions, particularly where technology and innovation intersect with real-world impact.
This will be an interactive and informal exchange rather than a formal presentation. Participants are encouraged to bring their own experiences, questions, and examples. Seva will provide coffee and tea, and participants are invited to bring their own lunch.
Seats are limited, and you can register bij sending an email to Rick ten Holder: rtenholder@seva.org
