what we do

1. Vacancy Review (FREE)

Hiring starts with a great job description and vacancy text. Based on our knowledge of fundraising (teams) we understand what you are looking for. Knowing thousands of fundraisers we also know how to translate what you need to something fundraisers are interested in. 

We will assess your vacancy text and share our ideas on how to improve it.

2. Advertising

Together with you we will develop an outreach plan. Part of the plan is advertising the position with our network of over 9,500 professionals, as well as on our social media and website, in a dedicated newsletter and of course on your own platforms. It is also possible to advertise on specialized job boards to make your position visible to possible candidates.

3. Proactive Outreach

Fundraisers like to be approached by a headhunter for a new position. That is why we can do to proactive outreach to possible suitable candidates. We will select possible candidates, reach out to them and try to motivate them to apply to increase the number of great candidates for you!

4. Screening

We do not wait for the application deadline to be passed to scan and filter top applications! We review resumes and letters on a rolling basis. 

As we understand what you need and how to read the applications of fundraisers, we are well equipped to select the most promising candidates.

5. Introductory Interview

We narrow down our selection further through introductory interviews where we explore the motivation, technical and personal skills of top applicants.

We will make a profile of each prospective candidate.

6. Shortlist

We share top applications with you – possibly before the deadline! If not all applicants are to your liking – or you wish us to share more candidates, we keep looking until enough shortlisted candidates are found.

For each shortlisted candidate you will get their application (letter and CV) and our profile. 

 

7. Interview Facilitation

We know that scheduling interview rounds is time-consuming. We thus act as the linking pin between you and the shortlisted applicants to facilitate your interviews. 

We will confirm all meetings to both you and the candidate and make sure both of you are (de-)briefed.

8. Reference Check

There is nothing more convincing than the positive feedback of past employers or colleagues. We call the references to make sure you are making the right choice!

The feedback received will be shared with you, so you can make a well-informed decision to hire your favorite candidate. 

 

9. Offer Facilitation

While we do not negotiate the content of the job offer, we do facilitate the process by acting once more as the linking pin between you and the selected applicant, and by understanding your needs.

A smooth offering process will result in a smooth start. 

 

10. Follow-up

Getting a new team member goes far beyond the hire. One month after your new staff joined your team, we have a chat with you to assess your satisfaction regarding his/her performance. We also have a similar chat with the newly hired staff to ensure that both sides are satisfied with how things are progressing.

Although you look for the ultimate candidate, ticking all the boxes, often the candidate you hire has still room to grow in its role. And this will keep them motivated in their job! 

By offering coaching and training, tailored to the needs of the new colleague, we can boost their skills and motivation.
