Module 2: Proposal Development, Writing and Budgeting

Module 2 introduces the proposal development process, the actual writing and the budgeting process. This module goes in-depth into the basics of developing a proposal for a donor. The module starts with how and when to make decisions during proposal development. Then, it discusses all the logistics for developing a sound proposal. Here, participants will work with a work plan template. Later, the workshop discusses how to create a successful proposal that includes both a narrative and a budget. Two more templates are provided for proposal writing: one for the narrative proposal, and one for the budget. The exercises help the participants get a better understanding of how to use these templates.
